We believe in sustainable, impact-filled

GIVING.

That means when we earn, we give, and we give where there is a measurable, audited impact delivered for our giving. (Sometimes we sneakily give even when we don't earn. Shhh.)

We live our giving. Each time TIM WADE completes a speaking or training event, or we complete a corporate video project or change program for our clients, we also choose to make a positive difference to others in real need somewhere in the world. It's easy to do if we choose to do it. We choose to do it.

We don't raise money for charities, we give because we want to. Because when compassion lives in us and works through us and the work we do, we can create even greater positive change. For we are the change we've been waiting for, and that is evident in the impacts created by our decision to give.

As of right now, our micro-giving impacts total:

Here's an interactive map of our global giving, from our little home base in Singapore.

Next are some examples of how we linked our giving to the work Tim delivered...

Here's how we select who we give to...

We choose the worthy causes we support based on an alignment with our values and the nature of the event or client industry. For example, we conducted a number of leadership-training programs for leaders and managers for a leading value fashion company. Some of their clothes are made in Bangladesh. We found an NGO called Every Home Global Concern with a program in the slums of Bangladesh that helps women buy their own treadle sewing machine (since the electricity supply can be unreliable).

The group also has a community development program that centres around primary school education for the children from the slums. So we sponsor the sewing machines for the women, many of whom are the mothers of the school children. The women can start a home business, their children get an education, and both elements can interrupt the poverty cycle and change lives forever.

Tim Wade conducted a series of three business leadership workshops in Singapore for the client, with 30 participants in each session. We chose to provide 90 weeks of access to sewing machines through the program in Bangladesh. And that’s just for these three events for this one client.

So when our clients engage us, they end up making a much greater global difference for every one of their people at the event or in the training, or for every video or other change project we complete. You can connect with us here: timwade.com or start your own giving here.

We are a certified B1G1 Business For Good

One of the ways we do this is through our friends at B1G1. With B1G1 we can be positive that 100% of our giving goes directly to our selected charities.

B1G1 provide us with tools and resources (some are on this site) as well as the behind the scenes work of ensuring these registered charities are legitimate, well-governed, and well-managed so that our giving has the best chance of making the greatest impact, no matter how big or small the gift. Plus each member of our team can get involved with the giving too. Check out some of their links on this page if you wish. To find out about joining B1G1, click here. We get nothing if you choose to join them. Because this is not about getting.

More about Tim and his giving thinking

Several years ago Scotland-based entrepreneur Alisoun Mackenzie (she's awesome) interviewed Tim Wade about business and giving.

In the first 5 minutes you'll get a bit of background about Tim and how he DIDN'T start his business with giving in mind, and the subsequent evolution of his thinking. It's an awesome interview.
